This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: email address, username, display name and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
- Profile details you choose to add: photo, cover, bio, location, website and roles.
- Content you create: works, posts, comments, daad, messages, reactions, saves and follows.
- Basic technical data such as device and browser type, used for security and to keep the service running.
How we use it
- To run Sawalia Nishaan: showing your work, delivering messages and notifications, personalising feeds.
- To keep the community safe: preventing spam and abuse and reviewing reports.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Your choices
- Control who can message you, send you daad or mention you, and whether read receipts and follow lists are visible — in Settings → Privacy.
- Download a copy of your data in Settings → Your data.
- Delete your account in Settings → Account. It is hidden immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days.
Messages
- Direct messages are visible only to the people in the conversation, and to our safety team when a conversation is reported.
